Important Information for Travel to Israel

PASSPORTS

The first name and surname on your flight reservation must match the name on your passport. Please ensure you hold a full valid passport with at least six months validity remaining from the date of departure from Israel. If you do not hold a UK/EU/US passport, it is your responsibility to check visa requirements.

Electronic Travel Authorisation ETA-IL

You must have a valid ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorisation) prior to departing for Israel. An Israeli citizen or Israeli passport holder do not need to apply.

FLIGHT CHECK-IN

Pre-departure formalities take extra time, and it is therefore imperative that you arrive at the airport in good time. Please check in 3 hours prior to departure. The check-in for Israel bound flights are closed to passengers well in advance of departure.

TRAVEL INSURANCE



It is essential to have adequate travel insurance for peace of mind and protecting your booking before you travel and for any eventuality while overseas. Details of recommended travel insurance is on our website.

ACCOMMODATION (if applicable)

Please check your hotel voucher and contact us if anything is incorrect. When you go through passport control on arrival at Ben Gurion Airport Tel Aviv, each passenger will be issued with a small (credit card size) blue visa card known as a B2 Tourist Visa. It is important that you keep this safe, the hotel will ask to see the B2 visa for each guest and failure to produce this will mean the hotel will charge you 18% VAT payable locally.

You will be required to give your credit card details at time of check in to cover incidentals. Twin/ triple/quad rooms are based on the number of people that can be accommodated in a room. This does not necessarily mean that you will have two, three or four beds as extra beds are likely to be a fold-out sofa or a roll-away bed. All special requests have been forwarded to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.

Please check if you require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK.
